About

Temuujin Erdene received his BSc in Applied Mathematics from the National University of Mongolia in 2024. He joined the Center of Mathematics Applications in his second year and remained with the lab through graduation, taking part in its proof-based research seminars in analysis, optimization, and image processing. His undergraduate thesis developed classification criteria for Mongolian pasture fields from drone-acquired imagery, proving the optimality of the Gabor filter for the task and validating the method's robustness through statistical hypothesis testing. He is now an AI Engineer at Egune AI, where he serves as Research and Model Training Lead, working on multimodal document understanding, Mongolian-language speech and OCR systems, and LLM-based agents. He intends to pursue doctoral study in applied mathematics.
