Biography
Galtbayar Artbazar is a Professor of Mathematics at the National University of Mongolia and served as President of the university. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2002 for work on the mathematical study of quantum mechanical problems.
His research centers on the spectral and scattering theory of Schrödinger operators — including the $L^p$-boundedness of wave operators and the analysis of quantum field theory models such as the Nelson and Pauli–Fierz Hamiltonians — in long-running collaborations with Kenji Yajima (Tokyo) and Arne Jensen (Aalborg).
