MendAmar Majig is a faculty member in applied mathematics at the National University of Mongolia. He received his Ph.D. from Kyoto University in 2009, where he worked with Masao Fukushima's optimization group on global optimization approaches for general variational inequality problems.
His research spans optimization theory — variational inequalities, equilibrium problems, and evolutionary algorithms — and its applications in operations research, from climate model evaluation to public service simulation.
